Radiology Specialist Dr. Gail Weingast

September 27, 2017
Although her career path was a bit different from many others in her field of radiology, Dr. Gail Weingast wouldn’t have done it any other way. It is most certainly her education and career experience that has turned her into the prominent doctor she is today. When she started her career path, it wasn’t with medicine in mind. She started college in 1969, at Jackson College, Tufts University, in Medford, Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.

Before long, however, the medical field must have called to her because she was soon attending the Boston University School of Medicine, where she became Dr. Gail Weingast MD in 1976. Following that, she completed a pediatrics internship and a pediatric residency over the next few years and followed that up with a radiology residency, all from Colorado General Hospital in Denver. She then completed a post-graduate degree as a radiologist in 1984 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, also in Denver.
